Setting up your Chart of Accounts (COA) in Tyms is simple with the import feature. This step-by-step process helps you efficiently import your Chart of Accounts, ensuring all fields are mapped correctly for smooth integration in Tyms.
Importing your COA on Tyms
- Navigate to the "Accounting module" and open your "Chart of accounts"
- Click the “New” button and select “Import Accounts”.
- Download the provided spreadsheet template to ensure your data follows the correct format.
- Open the template, and enter your data accurately according to the column headers and required fields.
- Save the completed template in xls, xlsx, or CSV file format, then return to Tyms and upload it.
- Tyms will auto-detect the best matches for each field. Check that all required fields (marked with a red asterisk *) are mapped correctly, making adjustments if needed.
- Preview the mapped data to confirm everything is aligned. If needed, click “Prev” to adjust the mappings.
- Once satisfied with the mappings, click “Upload” to finalize the import.
