View Side-by-Side Financial Statements by Branch, Department, or Contact in Tyms

Tyms allows you to generate powerful financial reports that can be grouped, filtered, and compared across various dimensions, like branches, contacts, departments, projects, and time periods. This guide explains how to use these features effectively.

What Kind of Financial Statements Can I View on Tyms?

You can access the following financial statements under the Accounting section of your dashboard:

• Income Statement
• Balance Sheet
• Cashflow Statement
• Trial Balance
• Consolidated Statement.

With each report, you can: 

• Group  data by:
  • Period (monthly, quarterly, annually, total)
  • Branch
  • Department
  • Project
  • Contact
• Compare data:
  • With the last period
  • With last year
  • Or view without comparison (Do not compare)
• Filter by custom date ranges
• Sort account lines in ascending or descending order

To enable grouping by Branch , Department, Project, or Contact, make sure: You have created these entities in your Tyms account and transactions are correctly assigned to them.
