Tyms

At Tyms, our goal is to deliver an exceptional user experience while helping businesses achieve greater efficiency and improved profitability.
To support this goal, we are reducing manual data entry through automated bookkeeping. Tyms can automatically pull your bank transactions, categorise them, and assign them to the relevant parties using predefined rules. This is made possible through our new Bank Rules and Bank Reconciliation features.
Bank Rules
To simplify record-keeping, Tyms has introduced Bank Rules, a predefined set of conditions within the application that enables users to categorise transactions automatically. These rules can be created and customised based on your business needs.
Once the specified conditions are met, Tyms automatically assigns the appropriate customer, category, and transaction type to transactions pulled from your bank statements, creating the record instantly. With this feature, you no longer need to record transactions manually.
Bank Reconciliation and Bank Statement Sync
We've introduced the Bank Reconciliation feature to streamline your reconciliation process. You can now reconcile transactions within a selected date range, making it easier to focus on specific periods.
This feature also displays the reconciliation status of each transaction, allowing you to quickly identify which transactions have been reconciled and which are still outstanding.
An added advantage is that you can view your bank records alongside your cashbook for easy comparison. The goal is to reconcile all transactions until the bank adjustment value reaches 0, ensuring that every outstanding transaction has been properly accounted for.
